Arena’s started in 1990 as a small sandwich shop just off Rehoboth Avenue. What began with big sandwiches, generous portions and a laid-back local atmosphere has grown into five Arena’s locations serving communities across southern Delaware.
Current ownership took over in 2005 and began expanding the Arena’s concept while keeping the things that made the original Deli special. Arena’s Café at Five Points followed in 2008, Long Neck in 2011, Georgetown and Milford in 2013, and today’s Arena’s Pub opened in 2022 after the Long Neck location relocated.
Through all that growth, the idea has stayed simple: good food, generous portions, friendly service and places where locals and visitors alike can feel comfortable.
Over the years, Arena’s has received numerous Delaware Today Best of Delaware honors for our sandwiches, lunch, trivia, salads and more, along with recognition from the Delaware Small Business Chamber and Coastal Style.
More than three decades after the original Deli opened, we’re still locally owned, still serving many of the communities that helped us grow, and still trying to make every Arena’s feel like a neighborhood restaurant you’ll want to come back to.
